The primary function of FOBO Ultra is to continuously monitor tire air pressure and temperature, transmitting data to both a smartphone application and the in-car unit for user review. When thresholds are breached, FOBO Ultra issues tiered alerts, facilitating prompt action.

The system can operate on external power sources or internal batteries, which are replaceable (5xAA for the in-car unit, CR2032 for sensors, and a 24V 10-foot power cable with connectors).
